Susie Watson Designs is a unique and fast-growing small company. All our products are designed in house and we work closely with the artisans who make them for us. We design beautiful handmade products for the home with a stunning range of fabrics, furniture, wallpapers, paints, pottery and accessories. We currently have eleven beautiful retail showrooms from Harrogate down to Salcombe.
Interior Design Admin Support - Marlborough/Broadway (Part Time)
We need a friendly attentive person who can work to a high level of detail to perform administrative tasks within our small head office in Marlborough or from our Flagship Showroom in Broadway.
The person will be responsible for assisting our Interior Designers to complete their sales orders using Netsuite accounting software and ACE software and being responsible for taking funds for Sales orders, creating related purchase orders and liaising with our curtain, roller blinds and pole makers ensuring deadlines are met and interior designers kept informed of their status.
This will also include some Book Keeping and Accountancy experience.
Other duties may include assisting Head Office with other administrative tasks.
The person will be required 3 days a week.
Competencies :
-A proven record of book keeping and accountancy administration
-Desirable but not essential, a working knowledge and understanding of fabrics and trimmings
-Appreciation of the Susie Watson Designs unique look and brand and a desire to work with our products
-Highly organised
-Strong numerical and administrative skills
-Computer Literate
-Good communicator

Interior Design Advisor - Sherborne (Part Time)
With an eye for colour and a passionate interest in interior design our Interior Design advisors are key members of our instore team. We are looking for a team member who enjoys spending time immersed in all thing’s interiors, to join us part-time, including some Saturdays. Day to day you will advise customers on our products and take sales, create mood boards, and work side by side with our Store Manager and Interior Designer to support them in their roles. Our stores are very busy places where we all work together to give a seamless customer experience and you will use your initiative to help make the store as smooth running as possible. We will train you and help you to become expert in our products and services and we hope you will take every opportunity to continually build your product knowledge and knowledge of our systems and processes.
We are here for our customers 6 days a week and 7 in the short run up to Christmas so you will need to be flexible and ready to work weekends.
Where you’ll be working
Our Sherborne store is located on the enviable Cheap Street,just a short walk from the famous Sherborne Abbey. The store has been designed and renovated to show all our lovely handmade products and delight staff and customers alike. You will be joining Sofia and her team who enjoy working together and building relationships with our new and returning customers.

Founded by Susie Watson herself our company opened its first store in 2008 in Marlborough near Susie’s home. We have grown to 10 successful stores from Tunbridge Wells in the South to Knutsford and Harrogate in the North. Our ethos remains the same, we specialise in making houses into homes and Susie’s belief that good design never gets old.
