What information do we collect?

If you have requested a catalogue, or entered a competition we hold your name, address and email address. When an order is placed on our site, in addition to the above, we ask for your delivery address and payment details. A contact telephone number and email address allows us to contact you should there be a problem with your order. An email address is used to send order confirmation and updates. This information is required to process and notify you of acceptance of your order. We may also obtain information about your usage of our website to help us develop and improve it further.

What do we do with the information we collect?

In addition to using cookies and the information required to process your order, the personal data you submit may also be used for general marketing purposes if you consent for us to do so.

As a company, we send periodic emails to inform customers of our latest products, offers and services. We always ask for consent first and of course, you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. This will remove you from our email database immediately.

Susie Watson Designs sends out a small number of catalogues each year showcasing our latest seasonal products and styling tips.
If you decide to unsubscribe from our catalogues, please get in touch with your name, address and postcode and we will remove you from our mailing list.
Contact us on unsubscribe@susiewatsondesigns.co.uk writing “unsubscribe” in the subject heading.
We will remove your details from our database within one week of your request and will confirm by email when this has been completed.

You can also return your catalogue directly to the address of the back of the catalogue.

Please note: mailing lists are compiled well in advance so depending on the time of request, you may still receive one further catalogue before they cease.

3rd Party
We may from time to time, make our postal mailing list available to trusted retail partners whose products and services may be of interest to you. We work alongside Epsilon Abacus, Experian, and iBehaviour who work on behalf of UK retailers. The participating retailers are active in the clothing, collectables, food & wine, gardening, gadgets & entertainment, health & beauty, household goods, and home interiors categories. They share information on what customers buy. Epsilon Abacus, Experian, and iBehaviour analyse this pooled information to help retailers understand consumer’s wider buying patterns. From this information, retailers can tailor their communications, sending you suitable offers that should be of interest, based on what you like to buy.

For more information on how your data is analysed and how communication is tailored to you, please watch this short informative film provided by our partner Epsilon Abacus.

You can choose to opt-out at any time by emailing your name, address and postcode to unsubscribe@susiewatsondesigns.co.uk using “unsubscribe 3rd party” in the subject heading. We will remove your details from our database within one week of your request and pass on your request to our 3rd party suppliers. We will always confirm by email when this has been completed.

Please note: mailing lists are compiled well in advance so depending on the time of request, you may still receive one further catalogue before they cease.

In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against the current fraud prevention scheme. At all times where information is disclosed it will remain secure.
