Susie Watson Designs is a unique and fast-growing small company. All our products are designed in house and we work closely with the artisans who make them for us. We design beautiful handmade products for the home with a stunning range of fabrics, furniture, wallpapers, paints, pottery and accessories. Interior Designer – Marlborough

We are looking for an individual with a passion for beautiful things and an eye for design, to join the Interior Design team based in our Marlborough store, to be part of our continued growth.

This role combines a flair for interior design with a sales focus. The successful candidate will be fully involved in all aspects of our Interior Design Service, providing professional and inspiring designs that are tailored to meet each customer’s individual tastes and requirements.

To join our team, you'll need the following skills:
- Sales focused with a natural desire to provide excellent customer service
- An appreciation of colour & design, with a proven working knowledge and understanding of fabrics & trimmings
- Knowledge and understanding of measuring and preparing quotes for curtains and blinds
- Flexible and reliable with the ability to work as part of a small team and support colleagues as and when required
- Good communication skills
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- IT skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Interior Designer – Marlow

We are looking for an individual with an affinity for the Susie Watson brand and an eye for interior design to join our team in Marlow.

Responsibilities:
- Sales focused with a natural desire to provide excellent customer service
- Creating inspirational design schemes for clients in the showroom and in their homes
- Measuring for all types of window treatments on site and quantifying fabrics
- Providing timely quotes for interior design clients
- Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork
- Follow up on quotations and convert to sales
- Interior Design project management
- Liaising with suppliers

Competencies:
- Experience of measuring for window treatments and quantifying fabrics
- A love of colour and design, with a proven working knowledge and understanding of fabrics and trimmingss
- Appreciation of the Susie Watson Designs unique look and brand
- Highly organised
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- Computer Literate
- Good communicator
- Able to work as part of a team
- Driving license and own car essential

Hours
Part Time, 3 days plus some Saturdays
