Susie Watson Designs is a unique and fast-growing small company. All our products are designed in house and we work closely with the artisans who make them for us. We design beautiful handmade products for the home with a stunning range of fabrics, furniture, wallpapers, paints, pottery and accessories. We currently have nine beautiful retail showrooms from Harrogate down to Salcombe and we are excited to announce the opening of a new store in Knutsford, Cheshire in Spring 2020.

Warehouse Manager - Sutton Coldfield

Susie Watson Designs are a high-end retailer selling beautiful handmade products for the home and a stunning range of fabrics, wallpapers and paints. All our products are designed in house and we work closely with the artisans who make them for us. We are a unique and fast-growing company, currently with nine beautiful retail showrooms. We are looking for individuals to Manage our warehouse and distribution centre in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

Overview
Our managers are inspirational leaders with a passion for our products and brand values. They support their teams to deliver service excellence and drive a 'customer first' attitude.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing the full warehousing and distribution for shops
- Lead the team to drive best practice
- Managing stock and inventory
- Introduce new processes to improve efficiency
- Quality Control
- Health & Safety
- Picking, checking and packing of customer orders
- Dispatching orders on internal stock control system
- Dispatching orders on courier systems
- Responsible for the accurate receipt and storage of deliveries from suppliers
- Replenishing of picking locations

Qualifications and Skills
- Stamina for warehouse work
- Confident Leader
- Computer Literate
- Ability to work within a team
- Comfortable in warehouse environment

Interior Designer / Interior Designer Assistant - Marlow

Susie Watson Designs is a high-end retailer selling beautiful handmade products for the home and a stunning range of fabrics, furniture, wallpapers and paints. We are looking for individuals with a passion for beautiful things to join our team and be part of our continued growth. Interior Designers are at the forefront of our Design Service, providing professional and inspiring designs that are tailored to meet each customer's individual tastes and requirements. An exciting opportunity has become available at Susie Watson Designs. We are looking for a Part Time Interior Design Adviser to join our Marlow team. The successful candidate will support the Interior Designer in store, selling our interior design products and services, offering advice and inspiration to help our customers create the perfect look. In addition you will be required to calculate quotes and manage the ordering process through to completion

Hours
Full time and part time applications will be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Sales focused with a natural desire to provide excellent customer service
- Creating inspirational design schemes for clients in the showroom and in their homes
- Measuring for all types of window treatments on site and quantifying fabrics
- Providing timely quotes for interior design clients
- Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork
- Follow up on quotations and convert to sales
- Interior Design project management
- Liaising with suppliers
- Provide cover for the showroom manager in their absence

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience measuring for window treatments and quantifying fabrics
- A love of colour and design, with a proven working knowledge and understanding of fabrics and trimmings
- Appreciation of the Susie Watson Designs unique look and brand
- Highly organised
- Strong numerical and administrative skills
- Computer Literate
- Good communicator
- Able to work as part of a team
- Driving license and own car essential.

Sales Assistant - Marlow

We are looking for individuals with a passion for beautiful things and an eye for design, to join our team and be part of our continued growth. Susie Watson Designs is a unique and fast-growing small company. All our products are designed in house and we work closely with the artisans who make them for us. We design beautiful handmade products for the home with a stunning range of fabrics, furniture, wallpapers, paints, pottery and accessories.

Hours
3 days, including some Saturdays. (Sundays during peak season.)

Responsibilities & Requirements
- Sales focused with a natural desire to provide excellent customer service
- An appreciation of colour & design, with a working knowledge and understanding of fabrics & trimmings
- Flexible and reliable with the ability to work as part of a small team and support colleagues as and when required
- Highly organised
- Computer Literate
- Good communication skills

Desirable skills
- Retail experience with a high-end retailer desirable but not essential

We are looking for individuals with an affinity for the Susie Watson brand and an eye for interior design to join our team in Knutsford

Hours
Full time and part time applications will be considered.
